Puppy Kindergarten Class
*No Puppy K scheduled at this time*
What is it?
Puppy Kindergarten is an opportunity for your puppy to learn good manners and basic obedience commands in a safe, nurturing environment. You and your puppy will join a small group of owners with puppies who are about the same age as yours. Puppy kindergarten is for puppies age 4 months and younger by the first class meeting. Toy breed puppies may be up to 6 months of age.
Using positive reinforcement techniques, your puppy will learn skills that will ensure that he remains a valued member of your household. He will learn the all-important aspects of socialization, being handled and groomed, obedience, getting along with other dogs and just generally being a good canine citizen- all in a relaxed atmosphere of fun and play.
Your puppy will also have the opportunity to take the Puppy S.T.A.R. Test upon completion of Puppy Kindergarten. This non-competitive test is part of the AKC Puppy S.T.A.R. Program. Puppies need not be purebred to participate in this program.
We meet once per week for 5 weeks.
How much is it?
